Mulga Bill’s Bicycle – Inspired By Banjo Paterson

POEM

Mulga Bill’s Bicycle
Up he goes through the sky
Longing to get out of the lake
Getting excited on the way
Another day passing by the old lake where his bicycle lay

Bumping into rocks as he passes by
It left a track behind
Leaving animal’s curious about what happened, as they hid
Loving his new ride
Smelling the air as he rode

Blinking as he rode by

It left him wanting his horse back

Crashing the mountain

Yelping in pain

Clinging to his handles
Longing for his horse

Even when he crashed he had a good time!
